Woven Hand

What a fantastic show last night! It's like having Woven Hand play in your basement. About 250 people showed up, full house. The band was very tight, yet loose. Amazing. David stuck very much to the arrangements/lyrics of the album (only he forgot a verse of Story and Pictures). But the highlight for me was the closer "Your Russia": it was the loudest, longest, most intense version he's ever done! Picture if you will David twisting, staring, screaming, and pointing to his appropriate body parts to act out the lyrics, all of them, including the new ones from Blush! Daniel leaving his organ drone on loudly while he played electric slide guitar, Ordy bashing away for all he's worth and Shane holding down a fat bottom. And David just going nuts! I will forever get goose bumps just thinking about it! You should have been there!

Two of the unreleased songs they played will be on the third Woven Hand album, as David Eugene Edwards confirmed.
