... wear it Clerks: just because they serve you doesn't mean they like you :-)

Just walked home from tonight's in-store mini-set at Twist & Shout Records in Denver. I went in thinking it would be a low-key, acoustic performance. Alas! I was wrong. Instead, it was all electric....kickin' some old school rockers from yesteryear.... most likely as a complement to "Olden."

Short but sweet set...and powerful...

Setlist:
I Seen What I Saw
Slow Guilt Trot
Haw
Dead Run
Brimstone Rock

The dark half of me (which is more like three-fourths of me) is hoping that tonight's sampler is a precursor to tomorrow's show at the Gothic and the upcoming Euro tour.... being the long-time elderly fan that I am.

Tonight was also the first time I've seen David wearing a hat on stage. Unfortunately, his funky little hat had a brim that shadowed his eyes. As you can guess, this obscured his otherwise mesmerizing leers into the audience. However, as highlighted by "This Is Spinal Tap", stage wardrobe and props are everything :-)
