On Saturday August 26th a small part of 16 Horsepower's performance on the Dranouter Folkfestival (August 5th) was shown on "Plankenkoorts" ("Stage fright"), a programme of the Belgian TV-station VRT.

Between the broadcast of live renderings of Clogger and Wayfaring Stranger, a small interview was conducted in one of the many open fields behind the tent.

Interviewer: Annabelle van Niewenhuysen, 1m90cm and flirtatious.
Interviewees: DEE and Jean-Yves Tola, both shorter than 1m90cm.

David: "This is nice.Very well-behaved people out there. (laughs) Very nice."
AvN:"They made enough noise and not too much."
David:"That's right."

What's a nice public? What do you like about a public?
David:"I like people that pick up after themselves."

Cause it's important when you play? It does influence you? Is it important what kind of .. David:"...what kind of crowd? Uh ... no, it's just important to have a crowd."

Head tilted with great exaggeration while addressing Jean-Yves:
How did it go actually?
Jean-Yves:"I thought it was really nice. It took us a couple of songs to get into it, but after that it just shhh ... (gesture of his hand being launched into the air)"

Is it easy to play these instruments?
David:"Not at all. I kind of just pretend. (interviewer laughs) Seriously, I do. I'm not really good at it. Some of the people in the band are really good at what they do. And the rest just kind of fake it."
