Picture by Rockpalast This concert was broadcasted live by German WDR television as part of a Rockpalast Nacht (night). Rockpalast is as German an institution as Bratwurst, BMW, Beckenbauer and the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) which governs the making of beer. Only not so old. Rockpalast has been broadcasting live music since the late seventies of the last century. 16 Horsepower shared the bill of the Rocknacht 1996 at the Grugahalle in Essen, the birthplace of the Rocknacht, with among others Eels, L7, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Urban Dance Squad, Screaming Trees and The Black Crowes. Rob Redick played bass. Pascal Humbert played guitar and wore the mariachi trousers that can also be seen in the Clogger video. And on one picture you can see Steve Taylor in his previous life as a roadie handing David Eugene Edwards his banjo. Click on the frames for more.
