Not yet official, but straight from an over-excited Colora'don' reading the Denver's entertainment guide Westword: "The annual LoDo Music Festival lists 16hp to perform in Lower Downtown on Saturday, July 8."

On June 10 of this year, 16hp will play two gigs in Germany on one day. Firstly they'll perform at the Orange Blossom Special IV in the afternoon. This festival is organized by Glitterhouse, and located at their own backyard in Beverungen.

Later, when the clock strikes 12, they'll perform at the Rock am Ring festival at the Nürburgring racing circuit.

For the past three weeks Secret South is still #1 in the Dutch alternative charts, De Moordlijst from Oor Magazine.
Humo, a Belgian TV and radio magazine, writes a very positive review of Secret South. Stating that it seems 16hp wanted to push A&M's nose in a pile of shit with this new brilliant release. (Aha, and probably that is were the beetle comes in very handy. ;-)

Since no-one seems to have a clue what kind of beetle embellishes on the cover of Secret South, Kuni and I(ng) officially baptized it a DEE-beetle (or Dung-beetle, if you like ;-).

Dutch EO-radio station broadcast the interview which 16hp gave after the press-conference in Amsterdam on March 14, 2000.

A Dutch Reformed Newspaper, Nederlands Dagblad, devotes an article to 16hp. Copy will be posted shortly.

Secret South released in Sweden. The Swedish newspaper, Sydsvenska Dagbladet, reviews the new album and rates it 3.5 stars out of 5.

The folks at Thank You For Clapping get their tickets for the Amsterdam Paradiso show (June 2nd) ;-).

The April/May issue of Dutch magazine Opscene (#76) contains a small interview with Tola and Edwards, and an even smaller review of Secret South (It's so great you don't even notice the religious lyrics ;-). The interview was conducted when Tola and Edwards visited Amsterdam during the promotional tour in January, when they played at VPRO Radio's Club Lek. The Opscene interview has a striking resemblance to the one which took place during the Club Lek broadcast.

The April issue of the german magazine 'Zillo' devotes half a page on 16hp's Secret South.
Dutch magazine, Aloha, published a short interview with David about Secret South. David:"Secret South is friendly, less aggressive than our fans are used to. I know a lot of them liked that quality of our music, but we can't make the same album 3 times in a row."

The Czars, another band from Denver Secret South engineer and Clogger remixer Bob Ferbrache has worked with, will be the opening act for 16HP from May 25, 2000 until June 7, 2000.

Kink FM (NL) broadcasted four songs, in their '2 meter sessie' programme, recorded for that same show several years ago.

Vinyl of Secret South is out!
Limited edition of Secret South, including a bonus video-track is spotted at the venue of Vooruit, Gent, Belgium. Will be available in the European shops.

The February issue of a French magazine, called Rock Sound contains a compilation CD with 16hp's 'Burning Bush'.

Dutch newspaper, De Volkskrant, publishes a story about David based on the press-conference at Paradiso of March 14, 2000.
The CD that comes with the April issue of Uncut-magazine contains the song 'Clogger'. Next month's issue will contain a review of Secret South.
