Faith according to David Eugene Edwards, 16 Horsepower
As a true Christian, David Eugene Edwards (32), together with his band, tries to convert the non-believers. With very loud reli-rock he barricades the gates of hell for wandering souls. Raised in the South (sic) of the U.S., also called the Bible belt, and with a travelling preacher as his grandpa, David exactly knows the difference between Good and Evil. However, he doesn't consider Rock and Roll, generally regarded as 'the devil's music', sinful.
"To create music isn't entertainment for me, but work. Work in the biblical sense of the word. I'm on a crusade. I make music for people who never visit churches and who don't listen to Christian music. That's why I go into clubs where they serve alcohol and where people's life-styles are different from mine. But this is my task, assigned by God. And if that means I have to play for people who are under the influence of drugs, He surely will have His reasons for that."

David's handwritten words are from two verses he quoted from the bible:
- Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of
Christ."
- Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction
of things not seen."
